So, die “Abgabestation” ist gemolken, Eure Statements werden wir gleich durchsehen und anschliessend prämieren, bis gleich…

Wer letztes mal vergessen hatte einen Katolog mitzunehmen, hat im Heimatdesignshop nochmal die Möglichkeit… schönes Teil, war auch echt eine sehr schöne Ausstellung!

So, die erste Ausbeute Eurer Statements… sind schon viele schöne dabei, Danke! Was ich aber ganz vergass zu sagen: Wir stellen in Köln aus, auf der Designer’s Fair in der DQE-Halle Heliosstr.35-37 Kommt vorbei Geht noch bis 18 Uhr - da ist dann Preisverleihung! Eigenes Statement abgeben nur bis 16 Uhr!

So, der Stand steht und hat auch schon regen Zulauf erfahren. An manchen Orten sieht man schon die Aufkleber…

“Der erste ist umsonst!” - damit ködern wir Alle zum Mitmachen!  Endlich verhallt Dein Kommentar nicht im All, sondern bleibt dank dem Aufkleber eine Zeit lang bestehen. Bewertet werden die Klassiker der “Publikums-Design-Kritik”, die wir alle kennen, wie : “ist ja witzig” oder “hab ich schon mal gesehen”, etc.
Gleichzeitig gibt es einen Wettbewerb um die beste eigene Phrase.

European Design Exhibition 2011 “SIT DOWN PLEASE!”

How do you actually sit in your country? May 2011: Düsseldorf finally becomes the stage for the EurovisionSongContest.
May 14, 2011: Düsseldorfer Lorettostrasse becomes the focus for the EuroDesignExhibition. 43 countries, 43 designers, 1 common goal: to describe one’s country just with a stool. Europe is a unique continent, but language, food, traditions and many other features make the difference between the countries: does the design language do the same too?The designer’s group Anonyme Gestalter (Anonymous Designers) and the members of the label Teilmöbliert (Partfurnished) will organize the exhibition in their 130 sqm gallery in the central Lorettostrasse, making the summing-up of a continent with 43 stools.

from the 17^th until the 23^rd of January 2011 as part of the Passages in cologne –

Interior Design Week

Ideas are sold in an ambience similar to a super market. Those are offered in different types of packaging. Within the assortment there are both ideas described only by words and ideas described by sketches or photos. Every Idea is printed on a DIN A4 sheet, which is folded so that it turns into a product. Different colours signify the different themes. Completely immaterial products are sold. No costumer knows what he buys in advance, only the rough main topic is defined. This way the anonymous designers offer their ideas before realisation. The customer himself is responsible for the realisation. The chance is given, that there is the one idea that inspires to start a new business or the idea that brings back excitement to a relationship.
